NBA to Open Middle East Stores

The NBA (New York) is partnering with a Qatari fashion company to open the first NBA Stores in the Middle East.

The first store will open in Doha, Qatar, during the 2016-2017 league season. The initial two stores will be located in Doha, Qatar, with additional ones to follow later in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, reports the Bangkok Post.

As demand for the NBA grows across the Middle East, the organization seeks to grow its footprint there. The NBA operates more than 400 NBA-branded retail locations worldwide.
