Neiman Marcus Beverly Hills Debuts Beauty Department

Neiman Marcus’ (Dallas) Beverly Hills store debuted its renovated and expanded beauty department last week, showing off private spa rooms, a space that merchandises beauty tools and a dedicated fragrance niche.

The 11,000-square foot department shares the store’s lower level with Mariposa restaurant, and is separated from it by two hand-blown glass curtain installations, which allow for visibility in and out of the cosmetics department.

Aiming for a luxe look, the department is finished in white, including Carrera marble flooring and glossy white fixtures. Comprising vendor spaces along its main aisle, featured brands include Chanel, Tom Ford, La Prairie and La Mer, where the focal point is a fish tank installation. The store’s new Avery Perfume Gallery was designed to create “a more exclusive experience,” according to Women's Wear Daily, housing a collection of 21 fragrances.

Completion of the 187,000-square-foot Beverly Hills store remodel is scheduled for late 2016.
