New ALU Chief

ALU SpA (Romano D’Ezzelino, Italy), has announced that Robert Rosean has stepped down as president of ALU North America (Secaucus, N.J.), its U.S.-based division. He will be replaced by Robert Mabry, currently executive director of product development and corporate accounts.

Mabry had formerly been group vp, visual merchandising and shop design, for the New York-based private brand division of Federated Department Stores Inc. (Cincinnati). He also was vp, visual merchandising and store design, for the western division of the now-defunct Mercantile Stores Co. Inc.

“Bob Mabry brings an incredible wealth of experience from both worlds – overseeing the product design division and working directly with corporate accounts,” said ALU chairman and ceo Abramo Manfrotto. “He is a forward-thinking guy who possesses the talent to build and develop our brand into the future.”
