The Cordish Cos. has broken ground on the $270 million Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana, which will offer several upscale eateries when it opens in 2025. The complex’s dining options will include Sports & Social and PBR Cowboy Bar, Luk Fu, an Asian restaurant and an as-yet-unnamed fine dining steakhouse.

Casino & Hotel Louisiana,” said Chairman Jon Cordish. “With the first land-based casino in the market, Live! Casino will be a transformative development that will bring a first-class gaming and entertainment experience to millions of visitors, create significant new jobs, and generate millions of dollars in economic benefits for the community for generations to come…”
Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana is being built on the former Diamond Jacks Casino & Hotel site in Bossier City. Other major features of the new complex will include more than 47,000 square feet of gaming space, an upscale 550-room hotel with a resort pool/fitness center and a 25,000-square-foot event center for entertainment, meetings, conventions and other meetings.
Other Cordish Cos. destinations include the Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos in Hollywood and Tampa, Fla. and Live! Casino & Hotel sites in Hanover, Md., Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
