New International Board for ISP

A new board of international officers will help the Institute of Store Planners (ISP) deal with a new millennium of retail challenges.

International officers for the term ending 2002 are:International chair and past president: Richard Lewis, president of TSL Design Group Inc. (ISP Los Angeles Chapter).International president: Ron Kline, vp of store planning & construction for Robinson-May (ISP Los Angeles Chapter).International vp: David Bowarchuk, vp of operations for Woodmasters Inc., (ISP Chicago Chapter).International secretary: Luanne Perry, vp and design director for Comprehensive Development Corp. (ISP Boston Chapter).International treasurer: Tom Lyons, president of John J. Cahill Displays Inc. (ISP Boston Chapter).

ISP maintains chapters in 15 U.S. cities and abroad. Besides supporting designers/planners and working to perfect the retail environment and experience, it co-sponsors the annual ISP/VM+SD International Store Design Competition, a design program that celebrates the most innovative retail spaces. This year's ISP/VM+SD design competition winners will be announced in Las Vegas on Saturday and published in the February issue of VM+SD.

Also, in cooperation with ISP, VM+SD is sponsoring an annual International Retail Design Conference (IRDC), debuting in Orlando, October 28 – 31, 2001.
