New Pittsburgh Airport Mall Opens

The Pittsburgh International Airport debuted its new $10 million retail mall yesterday. Its retailers include Hugo Boss, Armani Jeans, Collezioni, Desigual, Lacoste, Furla and Tumi. Airport planners looked for European retailers to provide the mall with an international orientation. The project includes the first U.S. store for Pinko (Milan), an Italian clothing and accessories brand.

According to the Pittsburgh Times, Airport administrators are collaborating with the Transportation Safety Administration to allow mall access to non-traveling shoppers.
