Nickelodeon to Open Store in Dubai

Viacom (New York) has announced it will be opening a new Nickelodeon-themed store in Dubai, U.A.E., next year. The store will be located in the city’s Dubai Mall, which is one of the world’s largest malls with more than 1200 stores.

The new store space will measure more than 3200 square feet in size and will feature Nickelodeon characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Paw Patrol.

This location will mark the company’s second Nickelodeon store in the Middle East, and its 12th one worldwide. The other Nickelodeon stores are located primarily in Latin America, with stores throughout Panama, Honduras, Chile, Colombia and Costa Rica. It also operates one brick-and-mortar store in London, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
