No Wonders About Quarterly Loss

Natural Wonders (Fremont, Calif.), the retailer of gift products inspired by science and nature that recently announced the acquisition of World of Science, today announced a net loss for its second fiscal quarter of $3.5 million (or 45 cents a share). A year ago, the retailer posted a $3.9 million loss for the same period. They attributed much of this year's red ink to “expenditures incurred for the World of Science acquisition.”
