Nordstrom Inc. (Seattle) has announced it will close two full-line stores, in Portland and in Vancouver, Wash.

The 150,000-square-foot Portland store in Lloyd Center Mall was opened in 1960. The 71,000-square-foot Vancouver store at the Westfield Vancouver opened in 1977.

“These two locations just haven’t performed to the level we need them to,” said president of stores Erik Nordstrom, “and investing in remodels to possibly make them more successful didn’t pencil out.”
