Nordstrom Continues Michael Kors Partnership

Nordstrom Inc. (Seattle) refuted rumors of a separation between the company and designer Michael Kors, reports Women’s Wear Daily. The site said the rumor began with a report from Wedbush Inc. (Los Angeles).

The Wedbush Report stated that half of Nordstrom’s stores had stopped carrying Kors handbags, while five stores eliminated the brand altogether and 60 more were expected to do so soon.

Nordstrom denied the claims saying the report cited department managers who do not have information on long-term business strategy and speculated about the relationship without facts.
