NYY Steak Planned for Midtown Manhattan

A new NYY Steak (New York) is slated to open in Manhattan in early 2013. The 16,000-square-foot steakhouse will offer seating for up to 264 diners, as well as a venue for private events. Inside the space, decor will include display cases and a wall of personalized steak knives.

“NYY Steak on 51st Street is in an ideal location in New York,” said Yankees coo Lonn Trost. “It's easily accessible for business people, tourists and, of course, all sports fans.”

The upscale brand is a joint venture between the New York Yankees and Hard Rock Intl. Its first restaurant opened in 2009 in New York’s Yankee Stadium.
