Fossil Inc. (Richardson, Texas) announced Michael Barnes is resigning as president and chief operating officer to become ceo of Signet Jewelers Ltd., based in Hamilton, Bermuda. Barnes has been at Fossil since 1985.
Walmart Stores Inc. (Bentonville, Ark.) has promoted Charles Holley to chief financial officer, succeeding Tom Schoewe, who is stepping down next month. Holley joined the retailer in 1994 and is currently treasurer and an executive vp.
Continuum (Charlotte, N.C.), a subsidiary of Classic Graphics, announced the following appointments: Heather Dunn as program coordinator; Janine Marek as national accounts director, retail; Leanne Kinsella as director, market development; and Rob Yarmey as project manager.
Elevations (San Francisco) has appointed John Dougan as vp, corporate sales and development. Prior to Elevations, Dougan was owner/president of Presentations Plus, a company he sold last year.
Horton Lees Brogden Lighting Design has added four new team members to its firm. Christina Andriole has been named lighting designer at the firm’s Boston office; Lindsey Paquette joins the Los Angeles office as a lighting designer; Bradley Sisenwain has re-joined HLB's New York office as a lighting designer; and Clifton Manahan has been named lighting designer for the Los Angeles office.
Showbest Fixture Corp. (Richmond, Va.) has appointed Michele Weitzel as vp, sales for retail, and named Elizabeth Hamlett as director of marketing.
