Overseeing The Great Indoors

Sears Holdings Corp. (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) has named Teresa Byrd senior vp and general manager of Sears’ The Great Indoors concept, effective immediately. Byrd will oversee store operations, merchandising and marketing. reporting directly to William Crowley, executive vp and chief financial and administrative officer.

Byrd previously served as regional vp in Sears’ full-line stores organization and most recently as the senior vp and general merchandise manager for Sears Essentials and Sears Grand. She joined Sears in 1996 after a 25-year career with Foley’s, the Houston-based division of the May Department Stores Co. (St. Louis), where she held a number of field and corporate positions.
