The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE, Hollywood, Fla.) announces three finalists for the foundation's 2012 Rising Star Award. This award, which recognizes Rising Stars who are the future leaders of the retail environments industry, will be presented on December 5, during the 16th Annual PAVE Gala at Cipriani Wall Street in New York. This year’s finalists are:
• Brandon Avery, senior creative director and environmental design group leader, Interbrand Design Forum
• Ryan Brazelton, design director, Fitch Inc.
• Brian Guze, director, store design east, Starbucks Coffee Co.
Serving as judges for PAVE's 2012 Rising Star Award are the following industry professionals: James Bellante, senior vp, visual merchandise presentation, Macy's; Anne DiNardo, editor-in-chief, VMSD; Nancy Jackson, president, Architectural Systems Inc.; Linda Lombardi, vp, global store design and visual merchandising, Godiva Chocolatier; and Brad Somberg, president, B+N Industries.
