The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) has announced it will be holding its annual gala on Dec. 6, 2001, during ShopEast in New York. The event will be in the Crystal Room at New York's Tavern on the Green in Central Park. PAVE will honor two design-competition winning students and present other awards, and the annual Markopoulos Award will be presented to a retail visual executive for career accomplishments. Some of these awards have in the past been presented at GlobalShop in Chicago.
