Pawan Verma Joins Foot Locker

Foot Locker Retail Inc. (New York) announced that Pawan Verma will join the company as senior vp and chief information officer. The move will be effective Aug. 10.

Retailing Today reports Verma will transition to the company after serving as vp of digital marketing technologies and services platforms for Target Corp. (Minneapolis).

Verma will succeed Peter Brown, who worked for Foot Locker for 38 years. He will supervise worldwide IT operations and infrastructure, and help align technology with the company’s strategic initiatives.
