Peter Huston Promoted at Fusion Specialties

Fusion Specialties Inc. (Broomfield, Colo.), manufacturer of custom products for the visual merchandising industry, has promoted Peter Huston to executive vp, sales and marketing.

The 20-year brand and retail veteran had been vp, business development. He has been with FSI since 2004, overseeing an 80 percent growth in sales. Prior to Fusion, Huston ran his own consulting firm

The company also hired Larzell Cowan as an account executive. Cowan had been in charge of visual presentation at United Retail Inc. (Rochelle Park, N.J.), which operates the 500-store Avenue specialty apparel chain.
