Philipp Plein Opens Manhattan Flagship

German designer Philipp Plein (Lugano, Switzerland) has opened his first Manhattan store, a 2000-square-foot flagship on Madison Avenue.

The store offers luxury men’s and women’s wear, accessories, handbags, shoes and jewelry, and is expected to average $3000 a square foot in sales, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

Plein will also open a unit on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills next month and says he sees the potential for 10 stores in the next two years, reports WWD. Plein opened his first U.S. store in Miami’s Aventura Mall in December.
