Philips' Innovation Award

Philips'Innovation Award recognizes solutions for today's retail lighting applications. Whether it's a big box with big ideas or a specialty retailer that uses lighting to build a brand image, the Innovation Award recognizes creative uses for Philips lamps. Award winners will be honored in Philips publications, on our website and in national publications. The award will be presented Monday, January 13, 2003, at the 2002 ISP/VM+SD International Store Design Competition awards ceremony in New York City.

The three distinct categories which acknowledge retail lighting excellence are:

  • MasterColor® Category – For applications using Philips MasterColor® Ceramic Metal Halide Lamps
  • MasterLine® Halogen PAR Category – For applications using Philips MasterLine® Halogen Lamps
  • ALTO® Fluorescent Lamp Category – For applications using Philips ALTO® Fluorescent Lamps
Entry Requirements

Eligible lighting installations are those completed within the last three years which utilize Philips Lighting Company lamps. Each submission must include:

1. A signed and completed entry form for each installation.

2. Written project description (up to 250 words).

3. 35 mm slides in slide sleeves (maximum of ten). Each slide must be labeled with the name of the project.

Entries must be postmarked by November 29, 2002.

All entries remain the exclusive property of Philips Lighting Company. If applicable, per category, a duplicate award may be given to a lighting design firm in addition to the Retailer/End-User. Philips Lighting Company reserves the right to publish winners in promotional material and on its website. Entrants must be able to certify that the information on the entry form is correct.
