Phone Shop

The Carphone Warehouse Group plc (London), a mobile phone and services retailer, has announced plans to expand its concept shop venture with Best Buy Co. Inc. (Richfield, Minn.) in the United States.

The company said it is pleased with the results of a five-month trial of Best Buy Mobile stores, and that it plans to open 150-200 stores over the next 18 months.

According to Carphone Warehouse, the majority of the Best Buy Mobile stores will be shop concepts in existing Best Buy locations.
