Promotions at Chico’s

Chico’s FAS Inc. (Fort Myers, Fla.) has promoted James Frain to executive vp, chief marketing officer, and Patricia Darrow-Smith to senior vp, gmm, White House.

Frain, with Chico’s since 1999, had been senior vp, marketing. His career includes stints with Alfred Dunhill, Gucci, Laura Ashley, Conran’s and Paragon Sporting Goods.

Darrow-Smith has been with White House Inc. since 1986, serving as the most senior merchandising executive and, most recently, as executive vp, merchandising. She joined Chico’s when it acquired White House in 2003.
