Publix to Test In-store Starbucks

Publix (Lakeland, Fla.) has announced that it will be opening its first in-store Starbucks (Seattle) kiosk in its South Tampa grocery store. The 286-square-foot kiosk will replace an in-house café and function as a test-run to see how the partnership improves the shopping experience.

The company plans to introduce additional Starbucks kiosks in other stores, though no final decisions have been made about those additional locations or when they can be expected to open, reports Tampa Bay Business Journal.
