Hub City Productions, Dallas, designed Q-City, an entertainment complex in Mesquite, Texas. Intended to attract and hold the attention of a teen audience, the 48,000-sq.-ft. development combines an ultramodern, urban environment with multimedia graphics and activities suitable for a young, anxious crowd.
Some of the excitement found at Q-City includes a laser tag arena, a motion simulation theater, a bowling alley, a huge video arcade and, of course, food and retail. Inside and out, the high-energy complex is filled with oversized graphics, steel and neon construction and vibrant signage.
