Raising Cane’s Opening Global Flagship in New York

Raising Cane’s (Baton Rouge, La.) will open a global flagship in New York’s Times Square on June 27. With 8000-plus square feet, the flagship will a feature custom mural by New York-based artist Timothy Goodman, seasonal window displays, larger-than-life replicas of the brand’s sauce, chicken fingers, and a statue of the brand’s namesake and mascot, the yellow lab Cane.

The space in the Paramount Building at 1501 Broadway will also feature the brand’s disco ball décor, in this case adorned in crystals as an homage to the New Year’s Eve ball that drops in Times Square. Ordering kiosks are also located throughout the restaurant to help meet the demands of busy tourists and on-the-go commuters.

“The Times Square Global Flagship marks a monumental moment for our brand,” said Raising Cane’s Founder Todd Graves, who also plans to open about two dozen more outlets in the New York market in the next few years. “Not only is this our first within New York City, but it provides yet another opportunity to serve our craveable Chicken Finger meals to those who love us and those who have yet to try.”

Founded by Graves in 1966, Raising Cane’s now has more than 740 restaurants across 36 states, the Middle East and Guam. It plans to open 100 restaurants in several new markets this year.
