RDI Announces International Design Competition Results

Results are in for the 48th International Design Competition! Which retail environment – of the 45 finalists – will be Store of the Year for 2018? Find out May 22, 2019 at the 48th Design Award and Store of the Year Gala in New York City.

Project finalists for the coveted Store of the Year award range from pop-up spaces and large-format specialty stores to supermarkets, along with many other formats. They also represent the work of 30 design firm and in-house teams based in North America, Europe and the U.K. Winning project locations span the globe from Beijing to Yorba Linda, Calif., with stops in London, New York City and Toronto, among others.

The Chicago | Great Lakes Chapter hosted this year’s judging effort which took place March 23, 2019. Additionally, projects vied for the Institute’s Innovation Awards, which will be announced May 22 at Current, Chelsea Piers, New York City. General admission tickets available here.
