Retail Expert Joins Carolina Herrera

Giuseppe Celio, who helped build the retail expansion of Oscar de la Renta Inc. (New York) in nine years as chief operating officer, has taken that same position with Carolina Herrera (New York).

He will report to president Caroline Brown.

“Giuseppe joins our team at the perfect moment to be an important contributor to the next chapter of growth for Carolina Herrera,” she said. “He will play a central role in our international business, structural and systems development for the future. I know his past experience and achievements will add great value to our management team.”

Prior to Oscar de la Renta, Celio was ceo of the U.S. business for Gianni Versace SpA (Milan).
