Retailers To Be Honored at StoreXpo

VM+SD will honor two retailers during StoreXpo as part of its annual New York Stores of the Year competition.

The awards are presented to the city's two new stores — one larger, one smaller — that best represent design achievement and targeted marketing strategies. In 2002, the first year of the awards, the winners were the Apple Computer store in SoHo and the Alexander McQueen boutique on West 14th Street in the Meatpacking District.

A reception announcing the awards and honoring the winners will be held at 5 p.m., Friday, December 5, at the River Pavilion in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Entrance to the reception is free for attendees who register for StoreXpo at www.storexpo.info. Once you've registered, you can pick up your badges for free admission to StoreXpo at the registration desk at the Javits Center.
