Rite Rug Relocates

Rite Rug Co. (Columbus, Ohio), an 80-year-old carpet and flooring retailer, finds itself in a sudden relocation and expansion binge with two new stores open now, three more in the works, plus a new warehouse facility, according to Columbus Business First.

Several of the new stores are replacements 40-plus year old operations that have closed in an attempt to move from older commercial corridors to more vibrant ones.

Owner Michael Goldberg cites a changing city and a changing customer as the impetus behind the retail moves.
