Russian Gap

Gap Inc. (San Francisco) has announced it will introduce its Gap and Banana Republic brands in Russia through a partnership with Fiba Holding AS (Istanbul, Turkey), the ninth largest bank in Russia.

Gap said Fiba Holding plans to open Gap and Banana Republic stores over the next five years, with the first Gap stores to open by the 2008 holiday season. Fiba Holding currently operates franchise stores for Gap and Banana Republic brands in Turkey.
