Saks to Relocate Houston Store

Saks Fifth Avenue (New York) will be relocating its current Houston store, located in the Galleria, to an updated store April 28. The current store will close April 20 to complete the transition.

Houstonia reports the current location is the third most successful Saks Fifth Avenue location in the country, following the New York and Beverly Hills stores. The new location will measure 20,000-square-feet larger than the existing Houston store and will become the largest Saks store in space and volume outside Manhattan, N.Y.

The store’s new floor plan will utilize a boutique design and rethink the traditional open floor plan department store design.
