Saks Fifth Avenue Plans Windows for ICFF Show

Luxury department store retailer Saks Fifth Avenue and Philadelphia-based Amuneal, a custom-fabrication company, will collaborate on the design of Saks’ flagship windows during the International Contemporary Furniture Fair next month. Six windows will be designed to feature Amuneal’s “inspiration walls;” an unveiling will take place on May 18 and the display will run through May 31.

The overall concept is to create a textural background to pair with Saks’ refined fashions. Each wall will tell its own story using artwork, curated vintage industrial items and plant and other natural specimens.

Last year, Saks Fifth Avenue commissioned design-themed windows during ICFF by furniture and artwork dealer Ralph Pucci.
