Saks Fifth Avenue will be opening a new restaurant in its renovated Chicago store today.

Sophie's will open on the seventh floor of the luxury retailer’s Michigan Avenue flagship, completing a revamp of two floors in the store. Sophie's is next to the new men's store that was relocated from a separate location across the street. There is a dedicated express elevator to the floor.

The restaurant’s designer was Andre Kikoski, who also designed Wright at the Guggenheim, a fine dining establishment in the New York art museum. The executive chef is Ron Aleman, formerly of the Fairmont Hotel Chicago.
