Saks Sacks Store Design VP

Stephen Joseph, who joined the Saks Fifth Avenue division of Saks Inc. two years ago as vp, store design and construction, has left the New York retailer. According to a spokesperson from Saks Inc., the Birmingham, Ala.-based department store chain that owns Saks Fifth Avenue, Joseph's position “was eliminated” last week.

Joseph had previously been with the Tucci Segrete & Rosen architecture and design firm in New York for more than 15 years, most recently as executive vp. His store design background included stints with Gimbel's and Macy's/Bamberger's.
