Samsonite Opening House of Samsonite Stores

Samsonite (Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong) announced that it plans to open around 50 “House of Samsonite” stores throughout India this year. India is the company’s fifth-largest market in the world and holds about 70 percent of the country’s premium luggage and travel accessories market share.

The new concept store will feature the multiple Samsonite brands under one roof, with the first store stocking Samsonite, American Tourister and High Sierra products in Indore, India.

The company has plans to acquire a variety of additional international luxury baggage and luggage brands in the future, which it may then stock in stores such as House of Samsonite, reports Business Standard.
