Sarku Japan Extends Reach

Sarku Japan (Markham, Ontario) will be launching a new location in Harlem on 125th Street between Seventh and Lenox, according to QSR Magazine. The brand anticipates expanding into the New York area with locations in Brooklyn, Queens, Yonkers and Long Island.

The company has traditionally been located in mall food courts nationwide until their expansion in 2008 with the opening of several freestanding restaurants.

“Many of our franchisees have made career changes with their decision to open a Sarku Japan franchise. We have former bankers, technical engineers, and sales and marketing professionals all finding success in owning and operating their own restaurant,” Bruce Kim, assistant vice president of franchises, told QSR Magazine.
