Sears Appoints Lands’ End Ceo

Sears Holdings Corp. (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) has named Edgar Huber, a former executive with Liz Claiborne Inc., as president and ceo of Sears' Wisconsin-based direct retail unit, Lands' End, reports The Business Journal.

Huber will be based at Lands' End's home office in Dodgeville, Wis. He most recently served as executive vp for apparel company Liz Claiborne (New York). His career also includes positions with L'Oreal, where he oversaw a portfolio of brands including Ralph Lauren Fragrances, Giorgio Armani Beauty, Diesel Fragrances and Lancome.
