Sears to Bring Back Toys

Sears Holdings Corp. (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) is opening in-store Toy Shops on August 15 in 20 select retail mall locations in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York.

Families will be able to test and play with a range of products from such brands as Fisher Price, LeapFrog, Hasbro, Bakugan and VTech. Specialty brands Schylling, Thomas Wooden Railway, Gund Plush, My First Annabelle and Madame Alexander will also be available, including Sears’ exclusive house brands.

“Sears Toy Shops complete the family shopping experience,” says Dev Mukherjee, president, seasonal and toys for Sears Holdings. “[The shops] offer parents a new, convenient option to shop for toys, in the mall, just in time for the holiday season.”

In addition to select stores, the toy line will be available through the retailer’s website.
