Sleep Number Starts Rolling Out New Store Designs

Sleep Number (Minneapolis) recently revealed its new store design to coincide with its Climate360 smart bed, which debuts later this year, reports Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal. The first redesigned location opened in Edina, Minn., this past June. Another location in West Bloomfield, Mich., opened July 21 and yet another store in Aurora, Ill., debuted July 28.

Focused on sustainable design, the new stores incorporate tech meant to guide customers and support in-store staff. Eco-friendly materials in store include flooring manufactured in the U.S., recycled acrylic fixtures, PVC-free wallcoverings and LEDs, among many others.

Sleep Number plans to open 16 of these redesigned locations by the end of 2022.
