Stella McCartney Adding London Store

Stella McCartney will debut a second standalone store in London, in South Kensington’s Brompton Cross, reports Women’s Wear Daily. The shop will open next to the first Adidas by Stella McCartney, which is set for May

“It’s a Stella McCartney store with a twist, new ideas and little surprises,” the designer told WWD. “I like my stores to have points of difference – I am not a fan of generic stores. This store has the newest store concept.”

Design details include a glass window and brass façade with white rhombus-shaped tiles. Inside, visitors will see sustainable oak parquet floor in a herringbone pattern, a neutral color palette and sculptural brass rails.

McCartney’s brand operates 16 freestanding stores, including units in London, New York, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris and Milan.
