Story Teams With Pepsi

Story (New York) has launched a new in-store theme for its retail store that is in collaboration with Pepsi (Purchase, N.Y.). The theme is “Have Fun” and revolves around emojis, which coincides with the PepsiMoji national campaign that also just launched.

The in-store concept will run through May 22 and features a brightly colored mix of emoji-themed products from dozens of vendors. It also includes a temporary tattoo studio, a photo booth and a station where customers can create their own T-shirts and iPhone cases printed with Pepsi’s proprietary emojis. The store also features a display of Pepsi bottles adorned with the company’s emojis.

“We layered in product and experience,” Story’s founder, Rachel Shechtman told Women’s Wear Daily. “Branded content is top of mind for everyone, and we’re having living, branded content — which to me has been the hypothesis of retail media. People are expressing themselves through another brand; it’s self expression.”
