Subscription Service to Buy Lord & Taylor

Apparel subscription rental service Le Tote (San Francisco) is set to buy luxury department store, Lord & Taylor (New York), a subsidiary of Hudson’s Bay Co. (Toronto), according to WWD.

Le Tote allows subscribers to rent apparel for a designated period for a monthly flat fee.

Lord & Taylor boasts approximately 45 locations after several closings in the past few years.
