Superdrug to Open 100 New Stores

Superdrug (London) is planning to expand by adding 100 new stores and 1350 new jobs across the U.K. by 2018.

“We are delighted to be adding 100 more stores to new locations across the country as well as developing existing stores within Superdrug’s store portfolio,” said Nigel Duxbury, AS Watson Group U.K. property director.

The company plans to include elements of both of the store formats it rolled out last year – Beauty Studio and Health & Wellbeing – in the new stores. Beauty Studio includes nail bars and an in-store salon, while Health & Wellbeing focuses on health-related products, reports Retail Gazette.
