Sweetgreen Debuts in San Antonio

Sweetgreen (Los Angeles) has opened its first restaurant in San Antonio. Located in Quarry Village on the city’s north side, the new eatery is Sweetgreen’s 17th in the Lone Star State. (The chain, which describes itself as “a mission-driven restaurant brand serving healthy food at scale,” already has seven locales in Houston, five in Dallas/Fort Worth and four in Austin.)

“San Antonio is a city with so much history, with a vibrant food and dining scene to match, and we couldn’t be more excited to be joining the community,” Sweetgreen Co-Founder and CEO Jonathan Neman said in a news release. “We look forward to continuing our commitment of connecting residents in Texas to real, healthy, convenient food.”

The new restaurant can accommodate 32 indoor diners with banquette and counter seating, and features a patio for up to 15.
