More Management Changes at Target

In another of recent management changes, Target Corp. (Minneapolis) announced current CFO John Mulligan has been promoted to the newly created chief operating officer position. The move will be effective September 1.

Retailing Today reports that Mulligan’s new duties will include the supervision of stores, supply chains and properties.

Target also revealed that Cathy Smith will join the company as executive vice president and cfo to fill Mulligan’s position, also effective September 1. Mulligan will serve as Smith’s advisor throughout the transition.
