Targeting Manhattan?

While Target shies away from discussing its exact game plan, reportedly the Minneapolis-based discount chain is planning to open shop in New York at East 58th and 59th streets, between Lexington and Third Avenue.

Target doesn't dispute that it's always looking for sites in New York. Other sites for speculation include 14th Street and a Stern's location near the Manhattan Mall.
