Electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla Motors (Palo Alto, Calif.) is opening a new showroom in Paris this month. The location, at 41 Avenue Kléber, marks the company’s 14th worldwide store and is within walking distance to the Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysées.

“The Paris store provides an immediate, highly visible presence in one of Europe’s most important cities,” says George Blankenship, Tesla’s vp, design and store development. “We want to create stylish, inviting places to buy cars and learn about 21st century vehicle technology.” Blankenship, a former architect of Apple’s brand-building retail strategy, joined Tesla earlier this year.

Tesla operates European showrooms in London, Monaco, Zurich, Munich and Copenhagen and eight additional showrooms in North America.
