The remodel is part of a wider renovation strategy by TGI Fridays at the airport and elsewhere. The company has committed $16 million over the next two years to update all five of its restaurants inside the Dallas airport, and also has plans to redo its outlets at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Miami International Airport.
Describing itself as “the world’s first casual bar and grill,” TGI Fridays is working to reclaim its glory days in the 1970-’80s. The company operates nearly 700 restaurants in 51 countries.
