The Man in Ladies' Shoes

Nick Grayston, formerly president of Foot Locker Canada, has been named president and ceo of Lady Foot Locker, the 632-store division of Foot Locker Inc. (New York).

Previous president/ceo Dan Demicell has resigned.

The company — the former Venator Group, which was the former Woolworth Corp. — also announced that it is merging its Kids Foot Locker division into Foot Locker U.S., to be managed by Tim Finn, president and ceo of Foot Locker U.S. and Australia.

Grayston will report directly to president and ceo Matthew Serra. He began his career with Foot Locker as the director of planning and allocation for Foot Locker Europe. He has since held the positions of senior vp, gmm, and senior vp, planning and allocation, for the company's Champs Sports division.
