MANAGEMENT CHANGE
Lighting manufacturer Halco Lighting Technologies (Norcross, Ga.) promoted David Hosea to vp of sales, industrial/commercial. Hosea previously served as Halco’s Southeast regional sales manager. In his new position, he will be responsible for all distribution sales and customer service for the company’s general lighting division. Halco also hired Duane Swonger as Midwest regional sales manager.
STORE OPENINGS
Coach for Men (New York) opened at Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, N.J. The opening marks Coach’s third boutique worldwide exclusively for men. The retailer operates another location on Bleeker Street in New York.
The Cheesecake Factory Inc. (Calabasas Hills, Calif.) opened a 10,000-square-foot restaurant at The Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, N.J. The company operates 165 restaurants, including 151 under The Cheesecake Factory nameplate, 13 Grand Lux Cafe restaurants and one RockSugar Pan Asian Kitchen.

Commercial construction firm Englewood Construction (Lemont, Ill.) completed five retail projects in the Chicago and Washington D.C. areas. In the Chicago area, the firm completed construction of a 21,654-square-foot hhgregg store in Joliet, Ill., a 33,115-square-foot Sears outlet in Naperville, Ill., and a Mrs. Fields/TCBY Yogurt at Westfield Old Orchard shopping center in Skokie, Ill. Washington, D.C.-area projects include a 20,000-square-foot American Girl boutique store at the Tyson’s Corner Center shopping center in McLean, Va., and a Calvin Klein Underwear store in downtown Washington D.C.
