Tommy Bahama Features Cabana Room

Tommy Bahama (Seattle) has created a Cabana Room shop-in-shop in its New York flagship. The 300-square-foot shop is part of its efforts to promote its spring women’s swimwear collection. Consequently, it is designed to provide “an immersive swimwear shopping experience in an inviting environment reminiscent of a modern resort cabana,” reports Women’s Wear Daily.

This is the retailer’s only Cabana Room, and the retailer has seen swimwear sales increase by 54 percent as compared to this time last year. The shop features white-washed wood floors, blue and white floor-to-ceiling cabana curtains and teak furniture. Two video screens digitally showcase the entire swimwear collection, which customers can peruse to narrow down their selections.
